About the TVCFO Forum

The Treasure Valley CFO Forum started in 2009 with a group of a dozen finance professionals networking over lunch, and has grown into an organization with almost 100 members. To meet the growing needs of the Forum, it was organized as a nonprofit corporation in April 2011. It is governed by a 9-member Board and is focused on supporting the three-fold mission of the Forum.

Networking

First, the Forum provides opportunities to network with other finance professionals who are facing many of the same challenges. We host several lunch meetings throughout the year, either in large groups with the entire membership or in small groups, which provide networking opportunities for our members.

Professional Development

Second, our membership values professional development and training. There is training regularly provided at our large group lunch meetings, in addition to our annual signature event, the Treasure Valley CFO conference. This is a one-day conference that focuses on relevant challenges facing finance professionals, both locally and globally.

Community Outreach

Last, but not least, is our desire to give back to our community. We focus this effort on supporting educational institutions through sharing our professional experiences with high school and college students, and through granting of scholarships to outstanding accounting or finance college students.
